Dr. Robert Vela, President of 圣安东尼奥学院, was unanimously elected to the Excelencia 在教育 董事会 董事的 in October 2021. He brings over 20 years in higher education administration and a wealth of experience as a civic leader to the 董事会.

RVela excencia HNS.jpgAs President of 圣安东尼奥学院, he leads one of the largest single-campus community colleges in Texas, and one of the biggest in the nation. 圣安东尼奥学院 is part of the 澳门新葡京博彩区, which is made up of five distinct colleges. 圣安东尼奥学院 was selected as the winner of the 2021 Aspen Prize for 社区 大学 Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges. Vela’s institution is the first community college in Texas to win the award.
